Joe came by the gallery to sign copies of Daredevil: Father and also shared with everyone how the Santerians came to be. He also shared with us that he has a story in mind for the Santerians that he is looking at writing for 2008. Keep your fingers crossed as we all can't wait to hear what adventures he has in store for Eleggua, Oshun, Oya, Ogun and Chango!

An open discussion on the influence of popular culture and media on the experiences of younger generations of ‘Santeras’ and the effect it has on how they practice their religion.

  • Raquel Cepeda - An award winning multi-media journalist, editor, author, and director of Bling: A Planet Rock.
  • joshua bee alafia: a filmmaker who works largely in documentary and his own narrative films that usually are in magical realism genre. More info.

Our second event was another success! Thank you to all who came out and participated! We would also like to acknowledge the amazing presentation given by Marvel's group of creators: Andy Schmidt (X-Men), Chris Sotomayor (She-Hulk) and of course the legendary Klaus Janson (World War Hulk).
